PURCHASING BUYER

• Handle core and warranty issues and programs.
• Initiate stock transport orders as required.
• Contact external vendor to determine if customer is enrolled in specials programs, including warranty.
• Confirm external vendor is charging correct price per contract.
• Negotiate timely delivery of product to meet customer needs.
• Assistant in training co-workers on applicable systems and supplier programs.

• 5 years&39; experience in aviation or material/parts environment or other demonstrated equivalent experience.
• 2 or more years&39; experience in inventory forecasting and analysis.
• Training or equivalent experience with an MRP system.
• Candidate must be dependable and be able to follow instructions.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

• Contract, Long Term
• Shift Schedule(s):
  • 10hr shifts and 12hr shifts available
• Contract wage: DOE

• Must have good customer service and Interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in accordance with Title 14 CFR Part 65.
• Must be computer proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
• Work Environment : FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
