MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor Degree in Business, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain, Logistics, and/or
Industrial Engineering. Years of relevant work experience may be substituted for completed, relevant education from an accredited college or university. 1 year of education 2 years of experience
• Five (5) years of experience in inventory management, ad hoc reporting and/or data analysis
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated skills in analyzing inventory activities and establishing goals/targets
• Demonstrated proficiency with Windows, Excel and Access
• Demonstrated contribution in building and updating forecast models within DFJ Forecasting tool
• Demonstrated skills in Adhoc reporting and capturing data from Inventory, Manufacturing Execution, and DFJ Forecasting tool systems
• Passed APICS/CPIM certification testing requirements or related certification in Supply Chain,
Production Control, or Inventory Management.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
• Identify and distinguish between active, inactive, excess, and basic aircraft inventory.
• Develop methods and identify problems that help in the prevention of inactive/excess inventory
• Investigate and determine cause, in relation to new monthly inactive inventory items as communicated by Finance
• Coordinate with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Program team members as needed to achieve
departmental and facility objectives
• Lead communication with Configuration Management and/or Engineering team members in the
discovery process to help identify causes for change that create inactive/excess inventory
• Lead activities that help identify future inactive/excess inventory risk exposure, in an effort to reduce realized exposure
• Develop the best method disposition (sale, scrap, other) to remove inactive/excess item(s) from
inventory
• Distinguish inventory which could be utilized by any Dassault spare parts groups
• Prepare list(s) and coordinate bidding activities, in order to sell inactive/excess inventory in
accordance with the Accounting department policies and procedures
• Coordinate and distribute inventory disposition recommendation for management approval
• Obtain proper charge account information, related to inactive/excess inventory disposition
• Coordinate mid-year and year-end inventory activities as requested by Finance
• Preparation of KPI metrics and graphs related to active, inactive, and excess inventory and presenting findings
• Assist in developing strategies to estimate and achieve optimal inventory target levels
• Assist with the activities related to demand forecasting via DFJ forecasting tool
• Analyze and recommend continuous improvement initiatives related EnvMBOM Option models
• Knowledge and exposure to AC Option specifications, manual update to Option Bills of Material
within DFJ forecasting tool, and Option Popularity rate data within E-Spec
