What You Will Do:
As a Senior CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing plans that are in line with the business strategy to further our world class technology portfolio. The Senior CNC Programmer will provide operational engineering support to develop technologies and processes which support the growth curve and cost reduction targets. This individual will leverage manufacturing innovations to improve cost, delivery, and quality of aerospace compressor airfoils.
Assist with problem solving during manufacturing related investigation
Own relentless RCCA (root cause corrective action) for correcting non-conformance in the part families
Perform DIVES (Define, Investigate, Verify and Ensure)
Implement and monitor corrective actions; monitor and report on the health of a part family
Monitor the non-conformances and how the part ‘runs’ compared to ‘standard’ times Look for areas to optimize, automate and trim waste
Maintain work instructions; support operational excellence using statistical analysis for process control and certification
Lead the CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) journey to continuously improve the quality and exceed customer’s expectations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, program/project management, quality or closely related industrial environment OR a Masters degree and minimum 5 years in an engineering, manufacturing, program/project management, quality or closely related industrial environment
Statistical Process Control required DMAIC, Process Certification, UPPAP, Six Sigma
Experience working with CAD tools, and create engineering blueprints
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles; experience with Kaizen events or experience with a continuous improvement program (CORE 6S, etc.)
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Programming in NX and/or Turbosoft
SAP experience
Program/project management experience
Processing knowledge of super alloys

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
