Shipping and Receiving SpecialistJob Description
This position is primarily responsible for shipping and receiving, but may include pulling small parts, kit assemblies, and other materials per work sheets needed for various departments within the facility. Candidates will be utilizing manual pallet jacks and walking throughout the facility locating parts. They will also operate a forklift to move material and stage in designated areas. Lastly, candidates will be counting parts and tracking inventory. Utilizing basic computer tracking software is required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cycle counts
- Pull parts for production
- Restock shelves
- Put away parts on shelves
- Pick and pack labels for shipping
- Handle shipping needs and logistics
Essential Skills- Experience in shipping and receiving
- Ability to utilize and navigate through basic computer software
- Forklift experience
- Ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Previous assembling experience highly preferred
- High attention to detail and counting experience

Work Environment
Candidates will be working indoors at the manufacturing facility. The facility is well-maintained and provides a clean and organized workspace. The role involves physical activity, including standing and lifting up to 50 lbs. The use of manual pallet jacks and forklifts is required.

This is a Contract position based out of Vista, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
