We’re seeking Skilled Fabricators to work with advanced materials and industry-leading equipment, contributing to the production of world-class aircraft parts.
How You’ll Contribute
- Work with materials including titanium, aluminium, and stainless steel for Airbus aircraft.
- Produce parts with a ‘right first time’ approach.
- Clear work phases promptly using the SAP system.
- Highlight non-conformances to the Process Team Leader.
- Adhere to GKN Aerospace’s Quality and Health & Safety procedures.
- Maintain first-party inspection approval (subject to A Stamp certification).
- Ensure excellent housekeeping and compliance with risk assessments.
What You’ll Bring
- Recognised apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and collaborate in small teams.
- Self-motivation, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience operating CNC machinery and swaging pipework.
