What are your contributions to the team?
- Be responsible for all procurement related activities for specific commodities of the various product development phases
- Represent Procurement with the various integrated product development team
- Track changes through the management process up to the point of implementation
- Be responsible for contractual negotiations, resulting from product ranges, with external suppliers
- Ensure that correct project tracking and visibility are provided by suppliers for Procurement and other business unit functions
- Support, where applicable, the Procurement commodity team in establishing sourcing strategies for the development programs and draft commercial agreements with the suppliers.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You hold a Bachelors degree in Business or equivalent
- You have four (4) to seven (7) years of experience in the aerospace industry
- You possess experience in contract negotiations with suppliers
- You have experience on development programs (an asset)
- You possess technical knowledge (an asset)
- You have strong analytical skills
- You possess strong communication skills (French and English)
