Arconic is currently in search of Supply Chain Process Improvement Specialist to join our Rolled Products North America in Alcoa, TN.

This position will act as a primary resource for accomplishing process improvement tasks in the supply chain field associated with problem solving, data analysis, statistical analysis, business strategy development, capacity planning, inventory/cost reduction, engineering econ analysis, and systems modeling. He/she will serve as a plant-wide resource analyzing, modeling, understanding, and predicting gaps to achieving desired business results both across and within departments. This position will develop effective plans which bring clarity to potential solutions that close those gaps and will lead the implementation of those solutions.
Expect interaction with the full diverse Tennessee Operations organization using the complete process improvement skill set to eliminate waste and drive improvements. This position will function as the main contact point for all supply chain process improvement related matters in the facility.
This role is primarily day shift, Monday-Friday. However, there is potential for the incumbent to work off-shifts as needed to support the functions of this role.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain or other relevant field from an accredited institution.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of related work experience.
- Strong PC skills, including Microsoft 365.
- Strong oral, written, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, as this position requires collaboration with all levels in the organization.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to provide direction to others in Industrial Engineering methodology.
- An understanding of systems modeling tools, such as Arena Simulation.
- Experience with linear planning tools.
