Job Summary:
Are you a skilled Tool and Die Maker with a passion for precision in the aerospace industry? Join PDS Tech Commercial, where your expertise will contribute directly to the creation of critical components that drive innovation and safety in aerospace technology. In this role, you’ll work closely with engineers to fabricate, modify, and rework complex parts, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate manual lathes and milling machines to create one-off parts and modify existing parts based on specific requests.
Utilize a 3-axis CNC for precise machining tasks (prior CNC experience is highly desirable).
Perform wire EDM operations (familiarity with the process is a plus, training available).
Execute sheet metal work, hand forming, and other fabrication tasks to support test stands and aerospace projects.
Solve complex problems by applying creative, practical solutions, and offering expert guidance to team members and clients.
Perform precision TIG welding on a variety of metals, including Aluminum, Magnesium, Stainless Steel, and Titanium.
Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and within required timeframes while maintaining exceptional quality.
Handle diverse, complex tasks with minimal supervision, adapting to different challenges with flexibility.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
6-8 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker or in a similar machining/fabrication role.
Proficiency in manual lathes, milling machines, and TIG welding (Aluminum, Magnesium, Stainless Steel, Titanium).
Familiarity with 3-axis CNC machining is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and maintain flexibility between tasks.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, precise work.

Pay Details: $28.26 per hour
