Job Description:

Purpose  

The warehouse clerk processes orders, accepts deliveries, and keeps the warehouse organized, which includes physically moving product around the warehouse.  Additional responsibilities will include assisting with the transfer of parts between buildings and to multiple departments with the use of the company vehicle and material carts. 

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Customer Service in distributing material.
  • Tracks and logs all product inventory, ensuring there are no discrepancies or losses.
  • Accepts deliveries of company products and stores them accordingly.
  • Restocks new supplies.
  • Operates forklift or other machinery required for transporting large orders and heavy products.
  • Uses Corridor or other software programs to record and monitor inventory logistics transactions.
  • Keeps warehouse area clean and organized.
  • Reports discrepancies in inventory to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Performs weekly cycle counts.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Six months to one (1) year related experience.

Working Conditions

The work is performed in an office environment, aircraft hangar, warehouse, at the departure gate or on the aircraft parking ramp. This position is considered INDUSTRIAL WORK which is characterized as follows.  

  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and State and Federal regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required.
  • Employees will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.
  • This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing throughout the day.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
  • Must pass forklift certification.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
