Airport Cargo Agent

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for building up and breaking down cargo, moving freight, and palletizing freight for international airlines. A go-getter attitude is essential due to the physical nature of the role and the need to perform additional tasks such as sweeping and cleaning the warehouse when required.

Responsibilities

• Build up and break down cargo
• Move freight
• Palletize freight for international airlines
• Perform additional tasks such as sweeping and cleaning the warehouse as needed

• Warehouse experience
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs at any given time
• Distribution experience

• Forklift experience is a plus but not necessary

Work Environment

The warehouse features large dock doors that open to the airfield, resulting in very hot conditions during the summer and cold conditions during the winter. The work environment is intense, especially during the holiday season when the mail departments workload increases significantly, leading to longer working hours.
