HQ Aero is currently recruiting for A&P MECHANICS in HAYDEN, ID

The A&P is responsible for ensuring that all aircraft maintenance is accomplished in accordance with the customer's policies and procedures. As an A&P you are also responsible for ensuring all aircraft technical documents and FAA Aviation Regulations are adhered to.

Responsibilities:
As an experienced A&P Mechanic, you are qualified to:

• Perform work on aircraft and components as outlined on corresponding work forms, and in accordance with the manufacturer's Maintenance Manual and Customer's approved maintenance program.
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition; complete all records and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• A&P Mechanic will maintain the company's aircraft in a safe and airworthy condition according to the company maintenance manual and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Serve as a role model for ethical behavior, maintain a professional and dignified work environment, and promote and support the mission of the customer.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Essential Job Functions:

• Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
• Work Environment : FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.

• A&P Mechanic with two years of experience on ATR 42's and ATR 72's preferred.
• Must have excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Standard Aviation Tool Kit required.
• Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
