Nature and Scope:
- Able to perform intermediate to advanced mechanical tasks with little supervision.
- Able to use FAA approved data (i.e. IPC, AM/M, OHM, SRM, SB’s, AD’s) proficiently.
- Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards.
- Commitment to company values and ethics.
- Minimum 5 years aircraft technician experience. MD-80/737/757-Experience, A&P holding a current FAA Air frame Certificate.
Education: High School Diploma/GED; Current FAA Air frame License required.
Experience: 2+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
Knowledge and Skills: Must have own tools, as provided on CJ list of required tooling. Is required to be proficient in oral and written English.
Dependability: personally responsible, completes work in a timely manner, and performs tasks accurately.
Motivation: must maintain a positive attitude and strong work energy.
Organization: very detail oriented and always comes prepared
Communication: excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
Initiative: plans work and carries out tasks without detailed instructions, prepares for problems or opportunities in advance, undertakes additional responsibilities.
Analytical skills: must be able to gather information and use data to determine cause and effect for complex problem
solving.
