As an A&P Mechanic at Malone AirCharter, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on our fleet of aircraft. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, airworthiness, and operational readiness of our aircraft, working in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of aircraft, including troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues.
- Provide fueling and line services duties, as needed, ensuring aircraft are properly fueled and prepared for flight operations.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company procedures.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation for all work performed, including logbooks, work logs for billing, and records of maintenance actions.
- Communicate in an effective and timely manner with both management and team members to ensure smooth operations and a clear understanding of tasks and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Perform tests, inspections, and scheduled maintenance as part of our proactive safety program.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Stay current on industry standards, procedures, and best practices through ongoing training and development.

Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.
- Must have own tools.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft systems, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical conditions, including confined spaces and at heights.
- Willingness to work some weekends and have a flexible schedule to accommodate the nature of on-demand charter operations.

- Pre-employment FAA/DOT drug screening required.
- 2-year employment background check, including a Drug and Alcohol records check, is required.
