Job Description:

HQ Aero is currently recruiting for A&P MECHANICS in MANCHESTER, NH.

Responsibilities:

The A&P Mechanic is responsible for removing and reinstalling aircraft interiors, rigging flight controls, Landing gear changes, repair, modification and routine maintenance on aircraft as required; operates in compliance with company safety practices and performs other duties as assigned. Working on Cessna 208 Caravan's and Beechcraft Model 99's.

Essential Job Functions:

Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance.
Must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task.
Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
Work Environment: Aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.

Job Type:

Contract to Hire
Day and Night shift - Candidate must be willing to work either shift.

Job Requirements:

Current A&P License is required.
Minimum 2 years of experience on the floor as a licensed Mechanic.
Cessna 208 Caravan's and Beechcraft Model 99's experience preferred.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Standard Aviation Tool Kit.
Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
