New Moon Aviation's Bend shop, located at the Bend Municipal Airport, is looking for an A&P Certified Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. The Bend location specializes in general aviation and piston aircraft maintenance, providing high-quality service with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical expertise, experience with computer-based maintenance systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on piston aircraft.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on various aircraft systems.
• Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations and company standards.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to meet operational demands and ensure smooth workflow.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and customers regarding maintenance needs and updates.
• Utilize computer systems for maintenance tracking, diagnostics, and documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 40 per week
