Our client is actively hiring A&P Mechanics to join their team to perform modification and heavy maintenance/depot level maintenance on aircrafts for military/government customers. This position is based in Bridgewater, VA. Come apply today!
Job Responsibilities:
-Examine and inspect aircraft components, including landing gear, hydraulic systems, and deicers to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems.
-Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations.
-Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance meets standards and that aircraft are ready for operation.
-Read and interpret maintenance manuals and manufacturer publications and directives to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing
malfunctioning or damaged components.
-Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance.
Qualifications:
-5 years heavy maintenance experience on aircraft
-Experience in a DCMA environment
-Must have own tools
-Must be eligible for a Secret clearance
-Must have A&P License
