Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic
Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Aircraft Mechanic with LUH-72, EC-145, EC-135, AS350, or BK-117 experience for an indefinite contract (with potential to convert to direct) to perform repair and installations on LUH-72 and EC-145 aircraft. The candidate will be involved in the fabrication, repair, and installation of aircraft parts, maintenance and repair of helicopters, and support of helicopter-specific programs.
Responsibilities
- Perform fabrication, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
- Work from three-dimensional blueprints, sketches, diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, inspection reports, and other similar documentation.
- Conduct functional checks of systems for proper function.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose malfunctions or failures on various aircraft systems including aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant, and engine controls.
- Diagnose the cause of malfunctions, identify failures, and determine corrective action to restore systems to required operating specifications and standards.
- Perform required corrective action by making repairs, adjustments, or replacements.
- Maintain a close working relationship with the assigned lead person regarding schedules, priorities, availability of parts, supplies, and tools, and special instructions as required.
- Ensure work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.
- Coordinate with various departments regarding requirements for materials, supplies, equipment, and job schedules.
- Complete forms and records pertaining to the completion of assigned work.
- Maintain responsibility to keep scrap at minimum levels.
- Follow all OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations.
Essential Skills- Minimum of six years related experience required.
- Experience with UH-72 preferred.
- A&P License required.
- Experience with LUH-72, EC-145, EC-135, BK-117, and AS350.
- Experience with Part 121 and Part 145.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- HS diploma or equivalent required.
- Some trade school desirable.
- Strongly prefers UH-72, EC-145, EC-135, AS350, or BK-117 experience.
- Will consider fixed-wing with A&P License.
- Strongly prefers experience in MRO.
- Preferred Airbus airframe experience.
- Preferred Safran Turbomeca engine experience.
- Preferred Pratt and Whitney engine experience.

Work Environment
Work will be conducted in a hangar/OEM environment. The position involves working with various technologies and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The hangar is equipped with all necessary tools and facilities to perform aircraft maintenance effectively.
