Job Title: A&P Mechanic
Job DescriptionThe A&P Mechanic is responsible for performing heavy maintenance (C & D checks) and aircraft modifications in a heavy maintenance/MRO work environment. Tasks include engine removals/replacements, landing gear removals, repairs and replacements, struct packing, tire changes, flight control repairs and replacements, among other duties.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance (C & D checks) on aircraft.
- Conduct aircraft modifications.
- Remove and replace engines and landing gear.
- Repair and replace landing gear, struct packing, tires, and flight controls.
- Work with various aircraft including Airbus (A319, A320, A321) and Boeing (B737, B757, B767, B777).
Essential Skills- A&P license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of A&P experience in an MRO environment performing heavy maintenance and modifications.
- Experience with Airbus (A319, A320, A321) and Boeing Aircraft (B737, B757, B767, B777, B747) highly desirable.
- Depot Level or Phase Level Military experience with C-17, C-130, KC-135, KC-10, or other large fixed wing aircraft is acceptable.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- CRJ & ERJ experience is welcome.
- Must have own tools.
- Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts and some weekends.

Work Environment
You will work in extremely large MRO/heavy maintenance hangars. Steel toe shoes are required, and you must have your own tools. The work environment includes multiple hangars and requires shift flexibility for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, as well as availability to work some weekends. Shift hours are as follows: 1st shift 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 2nd shift 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, and 3rd shift 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM.
