Stew’s Aero Services, a Part 145 aircraft maintenance company, is currently seeking skilled and dedicated Airframe & Powerplant Technicians to join our team.  We service Piston powered aircraft.  We have multiple positions available for individuals who are passionate about aircraft maintenance, possess an FAA A&P and/or IA license, and are committed to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform progressive maintenance on various aircraft, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.
• Demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tool nomenclature.
• Utilize tools to conduct inspections, repairs, and routine maintenance tasks on airframes and powerplants.
• Adhere to established maintenance procedures and documentation requirements.
• Participate in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities to ensure aircraft readiness.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve operational goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with an 8-hour shift.
• Salary is negotiable and based on experience and performance. Pay scale is: Entry Level A&P Mechanics have a pay scale of $25 - $35/hr; Experiences A&P Mechanics pay scale $35 - $45/hr; A&P with IA $45 - $60/hr. PTO and Health Insurance provided.

Job Requirements:

• FAA A&P and/or IA license is mandatory.
• Previous experience in aircraft maintenance, with a minimum of 1 year preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Successful completion of a drug screening is mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
