Job Posting: Aircraft Maintenance TechnicianDescription:
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of helicopters, including:
- R66 Turbine/R66 Turbine Marine
- R44 Raven II/R44 Clipper II
- R44 Raven I/R44 Clipper I
- R44 Cadet/Cadet with Floats
- R22 Beta II
Responsibilities:
- Inspect aircraft for damage or imperfections.
- Test aircraft parts using diagnostic equipment.
- Review completed work to ensure it meets performance standards.
- Examine replacement parts for defects.
- Conduct line maintenance by inspecting wheels, brakes, and fluid levels (oil, hydraulics).
- Perform ‘A’ checks: general inspections of the interior and aircraft hull for damage, deformation, corrosion, and missing parts.
- Service engines, emergency lights, lubricate nose gear retract actuators, and check parking brake accumulator pressure.
- Conduct ‘B’ checks: tasks include checking alignment, torqueing nose landing gear spotlight, and inspecting wheel well hydraulic tubing for condition, corrosion, and fluid leakage.
- Perform ‘C’ checks: heavy maintenance including teardown of parts of the aircraft, in-depth inspections, and reassembly.
- Examine body, wings, and functions for corrosion and damage.
- Check the operation of the DC bus tie control and perform in-depth lubrication of all fittings and cables.
- Conduct ‘D’ checks: comprehensive inspection and repair of the entire aircraft, including disassembly and refurbishment or upgrade of the aircraft interior.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Current A&P certificate required.
- Must meet the recent experience requirements as stated in 14 CFR 65.83.
- Minimum of two years of professional aircraft maintenance work experience preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Must own a basic set of aircraft maintenance tools.
- Ability to take instruction and guidance well.
- Goal-oriented with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in team situations and independently.
