Role Overview: As the Crew Lead, youll be the linchpin of our maintenance team, ensuring that every task is executed flawlessly. Your role is crucial to maintaining the highest standards of quality and airworthiness, acting as the driving force behind our repair station operations under 14 CFR 145.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team up with the Maintenance Supervisor and Quality Assurance Inspector to execute aircraft work scopes efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and with customers.
  • Attend customer debriefs and assign tasks to technicians and QC Inspectors as directed.
  • Ensure the use of current technical data, methods, techniques, and practices.
  • Verify that all personnel are qualified for their tasks and identify training needs.
  • Complete aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms accurately.
  • Facilitate shift turnovers and collaborate to achieve on-time, on-budget project completion.
  • Maintain a focus on Human Factors in the workplace, driving to zero defects in workmanship and safety.
  • Support the Maintenance Error Analysis Process (MEAP) and contribute to annual training assessments.
  • Uphold the highest standards of tool control as mandated by the FAA and our Quality Control Manual.
  • Perform related duties as assigned and travel to offsite locations as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A&P license.
  • Proven ability to lead and direct aircraft technicians and mechanics.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing technical work and following up on complex projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with managers, supervisors, technicians, and customers.
