Raytheon is seeking an Advanced Programs Mechanical Engineering Lead.
What You Will Do:
- Ownership of mechanical engineering (ME) scope and estimates in Advanced Programs (AP) proposals.
- Ownership of AP mechanical designs and reviews.
- Ownership of AP technical data packages (TDPs) and their maintenance.
- Leadership of AP mechanical teams.
- Support to AP Portfolio integration and test activities.
- Collaboration with AP leadership and other functions to meet the mechanical engineering demands of the Portfolio.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret or Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience in mechanical design principles and execution.
- Experience with drawing creation, release, and revision.
- Experience in directing team members with tasking and oversight.
- Ability to be work onsite in the McKinney TX facility.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Historical knowledge of the Advanced Programs Portfolio.
- Experience with the AP RCCA (root cause corrective action) process.
Typically requires:
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA. an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.) The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
