ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an aerospace technician for an exciting space exploration company in Merritt Island, FL!
- Assemble a variety of structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanically actuated components for rockets
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance
- Set up and operate a wide range of precision-calibrated tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser trackers, height gauges, and optical measuring instruments
- Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, cranes, aerial lifts, and other ground support equipment
- Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-6+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another related field
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: fluids and tubing install, instrumentation and electrical harness routing, general aerospace/launch vehicle assembly
- Interpret engineering model drawings, specifications, written work instructions, and test procedures
