Northeast Aero is seeking skilled and motivated technicians with a hunger for knowledge and a passion for aviation repair to join our team. We currently have open positions in Pneumatic, Rotating, Fuel, Electro/ Mechanical, and Hydraulics. Our ideal candidate is a team player and has a passion for working with their hands, utilizing various tools, materials, and specialized testing equipment to test and repair aircraft components in accordance with OEM and/or customer specifications.
The technician's responsibilities will be testing, troubleshooting, tearing down, and building aircraft components. All positions require knowledge of our procedures as it pertains to processes and documentation. On-the-job training and oversight is provided by NEACO management.
Essential Responsibilities

- Test and repair aircraft components in accordance with company-provided data (manuals, drawings, procedures, etc.) and company-provided training.
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area.
- Correctly, concisely, and legibly fill out all company forms and reports as required by management (both written and online).
- Work with co-workers to achieve goals and objectives set by management.
- Work with management to develop new processes and procedures as necessary.
- Assist in basic shop upkeep and maintenance including routine cleaning of the technician's work area and periodic shop maintenance assignments.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external representatives, including management, customer reps, FAA inspectors, airline inspectors and similar (training provided).
Experience and Skills
- The ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings as well as a basic background check.
- 2+ of similar or related work experience; similar experience in aviation, automotive, marine, electronics, or low-voltage electric repair will be considered.
- Technician candidate must own his or her own set of basic hand tools.
- Applicant must have at the least a moderate level of experience and proficiency with general electrical soldering and/or circuit board level soldering.
- The ability to follow instructions and work to a written procedure concisely and accurately.
- Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
- Applicants must be able to read and thoroughly understand technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, and instructions. A pre-employment technical skills and comprehension test may be required.
- Interested individuals must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized.
- Experience using a computer.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Valid driver's license.
- Electrical or Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience. Machinist experience a plus.
