Tasks
The Aircraft Engine Mechanic is responsible for:
- Maintain, service and repair of engines (professionally and on time) within the scope of the qual. / auth. provided for this purpose (hands-on mechanical tasks) in shop aswell as on wing and on-site
- Perform Troubleshooting
- Disassemble & Assemble engines
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required duties
- Diagnoses problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Detects errors and correct through proper departmental changes
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements
* All other duties as assigned or required

Requirements
The ideal Aircraft Engine Mechanic should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelors degree desirable
- College degree/vocational training required
- Min. 1 year of experience in aircraft jet engine mechanic required
- Fluency in English language required
- German and French language desirable
- Knowledge in CFM 56-7B, LEAP-1B desirable
- MS Office as user
- Excellent detail oriented
- Excellent quality consciousness
- Excellent productivity driven

- Shift work / overtime
- Manage constant time pressureManage high stress levels
- Lift up to 70 lbs
