Job Description:

HQ Aero is currently recruiting for AIRCRAFT HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS MECHANIC in FATE, TX.

The Aircraft Hydraulic Systems Mechanic are responsible for maintaining the hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including landing gear, brakes, flight controls as well as weapon and cargo doors on the UH-60 Blackhawk or BK117 Helicopters.

Responsibilities:

  • As an experienced Aircraft Hydraulic Systems Mechanic, you are qualified to:
  • Troubleshoot, remove, repair, overhaul, inspect and install hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their components, including support equipment.
  • Advise on any problems maintaining these systems and determine maintenance procedures and performance characteristics using technical publications.
  • Perform system operation checks and take corrective action, if necessary.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • Strong background with Line Maintenance & Heavy Maintenance Checks required.
  • Experience with UH-60 Blackhawk or BK117 Helicopters preferred.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Standard Aviation Tool Kit required.
  • Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
