Job Description:
HQ Aero is currently recruiting for experienced AIRCRAFT INTERIOR MECHANICS in TAMPA, FL

Responsibilities:
As an Aircraft Interior Mechanic, you are responsible for safely and efficiently carrying out the removal, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, modification, refurbishment, and installation of aircraft interior and its associated components (seats, carpets, interior paneling, windows, galley, lavatory modules, insulation, and sound proofing systems). You are required to ensure compliance with customer expectations and design methods and adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of Aircraft Interior experience required.
Experience on Boeing 737, 767, and Airbus aircraft is preferred.
Written skills test will be administered on the first day.
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Standard Tool Kit required.
Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

Job Type:

Contract
Must complete orientation to be eligible for travel pay.

Essential job functions

Familiar with the function, operation, and safety requirements of aircraft passenger support systems.
Review and understand all necessary documentation (drawings, work scope, task cards/snags), to perform task(s).
Completely fill out timecards daily by making sure that the snag/task card information is correct.
Complete task cards as soon as task is completed (within 24 hours unless drawing/specification is not available).
Perform work in a productive, diligent, careful, and safe manner.
Proven technical and mathematical aptitude.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical/engineering drawings and technical instructions.
Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools, safely and with care and precision, are essential.
Ability to understand and follow direction with general supervision.
Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and written.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Any other job-related duties assigned with the highest level of ethics, integrity, safety, and honesty.
Be able to lift equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to climb ladders, apply finger and hand dexterity in using hand tools, be able to move around the shop/hangar area and within aircraft continuously throughout the workday.
