STS Technical Services is looking for a highly qualified Aircraft Maintenance Instructor to join our team. Overview:
As an Aircraft Maintenance Instructor, you will play a crucial role in implementing our Maintenance Training Programs. This is a remote position, but it will require occasional travel to locations that require training, as directed by the Manager of Maintenance Training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct training courses following the outlined procedures in the training chapters of the GMM (General Maintenance Manual).
- Travel to various locations to deliver in-person training as directed by the Manager of Maintenance Training.
- Develop and provide training aids, materials, and handouts for each course.
- Maintain and update training records for each participant.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Maintenance Training on curriculum development and any additional duties required to enhance training efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of mechanical experience on aircraft, with a strong understanding of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of company inspection concepts and FAR (Federal Aviation Regulations).
- Experience developing course curriculum and training materials.
- Expertise in Boeing aircraft maintenance training, specifically on the 747-8 (required) and 747-400, B777, B767 (strongly preferred).
- Must hold a valid A&P license.
