Silver Airways is hiring a dedicated and ambitious AMT (with A&P) to be a part of the Silver family. We currently provide more routes within Florida and to the Bahamas than any other regional airline and we need your help to keep our fleet running smoothly as we expand! The A&P Technician (AMT) accomplishes maintenance checks, up to and including line & service checks, along with non-routine heavy maintenance.  

Day-to-day Responsibilities: 

• Troubleshoots and repairs aircraft systems, engine, electrical and avionics malfunctions
• Completes logbooks, non-routine work cards and documents in accordance with General Maintenance Manual
• Accomplishes minor structural and composite material repairs
• Reports to shift lead mechanic or supervisor for work and shift assignments
• Must be able to read and interpret Maintenance Manual, Illustrated Parts Catalog, Structural Repair and Wiring
• Must be able to use Diagrams System Schematics, and use ATA code

Requirements:

• Must have own tools
• Must be computer literate with MS Office
• TRAX experience a huge plus!
• Must be able to work flexible hours/shifts and days off
• Must be willing to work days, nights, holidays, and overtime as requested
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or any time in the future
• Must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen, FBI Fingerprint, & 10 Year Criminal Background Check
• Must own a current U.S. Passport or equivalent with applicable visas
• Must have a valid driver&39;s license

Required Education and Experience:

• A & P Certification required (issued by the FAA)
• Minimum two (2) years’ workinexperience maintaining ATR (or equivalent other turboprop aircraft) 
• Avionics and/or structures experience preferred
