Aircraft Maintenance Technician/Sheetmetal Specialist

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Accomplishes regular servicing and maintenance of aircraft as required in the work sheets in accordance with the Airbus Helicopters procedures and standards and applicable CAAP regulations;
• Determines defects and unsatisfactory conditions present in the aircraft and diagnoses/ troubleshoot their causes to pinpoint areas or systems where corrective actions are needed.
• Performs corrective repairs, adjustments, or unit replacement consistent with the quality standards set by Airbus Helicopters;
• Accomplishes modifications and alteration instructions in accordance with approved documents and instructions (RDAS, SB, STC, etc.)
• Executes all work assigned in an efficient and cost effective manner.
• Signs off work accomplishments in the appropriate records, forms and other documents which may be needed in the performance of duties.
• Maintains a clean, neat and orderly working area at all times and follows all pertinent safety rules and regulations.
• Performs maintenance release/airworthiness release after ensuring the completeness of the applicable check and verifying that all work and/or inspections performed or required to be performed have been signed for and that no known defects exist that would render the aircraft, engine, components and accessories and appliances not airworthy.
• Can be assigned as a Flight Mechanic if needed.

Educational/Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Technology or equivalent  
• With valid CAAP license
• With at least two (2) years related experience               ​
