ABOUT THE JOB

  • As a Junior Aircraft Mechanic at TUI, youll be responsible for carrying out maintenance, modifications, and repairs to aircraft structures, mechanical, electrical, and avionics systems.
  • Working in accordance with approved technical documentation and company procedures, youll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of our aircraft fleet.
  • Maintain and promote a just culture of responsibility, accountability, and company values.
  • Complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently while upholding high standards of quality.
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs in compliance with regulations, engineering procedures, and approved technical documentation.
  • Identify, store, and process parts removed from aircraft according to company processes and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and sign-off of completed work at the end of each shift.
  • Comply with all relevant company, regulatory, and aircraft procedures, including health and safety protocols.
  • Return all equipment to storage areas, identify any defects, and ensure all tools and equipment are returned daily.

ABOUT YOU

  • Aeronautics degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Flexibility in working hours to align with TUI Group Winter Maintenance Planning.
  • Knowledge of EASA Part-145 regulation and understanding of SMS requirements.
  • Understanding of Human Factors within the aircraft maintenance environment.
  • Strong communication skills, preferably with fluency in Dutch or French.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and requirements.
  • Excellent understanding of aircraft technical data and maintenance documentation.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and company operating engineering systems.
