This is a State of Michigan civil service position.
Maintain 6 helicopters: 1 206L-3, 3 407's, 2 UH-1H
3 fixed wing aircraft: 1 Cessna 182R, 1 Cessna 206H, 1 King Air E90.
This position services and repairs aircraft components, including performing the most complex maintenance and repair operations. Performs advanced maintenance and repairs on fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft assigned to the Department in accordance with existing FAA Regulations. Work on piston engines as well as helicopter turbine engines, and airframes of airplanes and helicopters, including sheet metal work. Is licensed under the FAA to perform authorized inspections. May have responsibilities to train and direct the work of others.

The Michigan State Police (MSP) is a full-service policing agency with statewide jurisdiction, providing over 60 different services either directly to Michigan residents or in support of other law enforcement agencies.
