Job Description:

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, repairs, and alterations on a variety of general aviation aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.

The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, maintains strong documentation discipline, and works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft systems and components
  • Conduct annual inspections, 100-hour inspections, and progressive inspections
  • Troubleshoot and repair airframe, engine, electrical systems
  • Remove, install, and test aircraft components and systems
  • Interpret technical data including maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and IPCs
  • Complete accurate and detailed logbook entries and maintenance records
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (required)
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance (general aviation piston preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plus but not required
  • Valid driver’s license

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Random drug screens required by FAA.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and training which qualifies the employee to perform the essential job duties of the position.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Power Plant preferred.
