Job Description:

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, repairs, and alterations on a variety of general aviation aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards.

The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, maintains strong documentation discipline, and works well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft systems and components
Conduct annual inspections, 100-hour inspections, and progressive inspections
Troubleshoot and repair airframe, engine, electrical systems
Remove, install, and test aircraft components and systems
Interpret technical data including maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and IPCs
Complete accurate and detailed logbook entries and maintenance records
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., work on knees, crawl, bend, crouch, and reach over your head.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate (required)
Experience in aircraft maintenance (general aviation piston preferred)
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Inspection Authorization (IA) is a plus but not required
Valid driver’s license

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
Random drug screens required by FAA.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and training which qualifies the employee to perform the essential job duties of the position.
Valid FAA Airframe and Power Plant preferred.
