Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic
Job DescriptionWe are seeking skilled aircraft maintenance technicians to join our fun and supportive organization. You will perform maintenance on aircraft systems and sub-systems as directed, including mechanical disassembly, inspection, build-up, and operational checks. This role is vital to maintaining the high standards of excellence and professionalism we are known for in the aviation industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on aircrafts mechanical, structural, power plant, interior, and avionics systems.
- Disassemble, clean, and inspect mechanical, electrical, and interior systems and components.
- Complete detailed documentation of tasks performed in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure safe and standard maintenance practices in compliance with FAA repair station standards.
- Occasional overtime work as needed.
Essential Skills- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks as prescribed in Service Dept Competency Manual.
- Understanding of FARs and regulations pertaining to aircraft maintenance.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
- Ability to handle and resolve technical issues and problems.
- Effectively utilize technical documentation and literature.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Prior corporate jet experience preferred.
- Open to non-licensed candidates from the military.
- Not looking for career contractors.
- A&P license preferred.
- Experience with aircraft maintenance on Hawkers, Citations, and other corporate jets.

Work Environment
Work takes place in a hangar, which is warmer in the summer and colder in the winter. Current openings are available on both 1st and 2nd shifts. The 2nd shift operates from 2 PM to 10:30 PM and receives a $2 shift differential. The 1st shift runs from 7:30 AM to 4 PM. The position is located at 4101 Dandy Trail, Indianapolis, IN.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00
