Aircraft Mechanic

The Airframe Technician, with limited supervision, assists with testing, adjusting, and repairing, and other general tasks related to the maintenance and repair of airframe systems and components on a variety of airframes in a safe and clean work environment according to manufacturers specifications, approved procedures, and customer specifications. This position prepares and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner. The technician will perform high-quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance using proper hand tools in a clean, safe, and professional manner with no rework. They will also accurately order general aircraft parts as needed. Additional responsibilities include minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems and components, as well as preparing various documents for record-keeping purposes as required by company policy and FAA regulations. The role includes working on Business Jets such as Bombardier, Falcons, Gulfstream, and Dassault Falcon models. Candidates with sheet metal or structures experience are highly preferred.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Work Environment

They will work inside a temperature-controlled hangar, which is also heated with heated floors in the winter.

Available shifts include: 1st shift (6:00am - 4:00pm, Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday), 2nd shift (2:00pm - 12:00am, Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday), and weekend shift (Friday-Sunday, working 3 12-hour shifts with a 10 shift differential).
