Job Title: Aircraft MechanicJob Description
Class IV 14 CFR Part 145 certified repair station specializing in every aspect of aircraft maintenance for the service life of your fleet. We maintain narrow and wide body, small to large, regional to long-haul aircraft and one of the largest storage and reclamation operations in the world.
Responsibilities
- Research technical data and perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, assembly, testing, and calibration of aircraft components with company special tools and ground equipment in accordance with applicable maintenance manual, FAA regulations, and company policies and procedures.
- Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units.
- Read and interpret manufacturers and airlines’ maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Upon removing units from an aircraft, engine, or other major component or subassembly, complete appropriate identification, inspections, routing tags and forms, and make appropriate entries into the Component Removal Log.
- Disassemble and inspect aircraft and engine parts for wear or other defects.
- Repair or replace defective engine parts and reassemble and install engine in aircraft.
- Adjust, repair, or replace electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories.
- Perform miscellaneous duties to service aircraft including cleaning, servicing, greasing, moving parts, and checking brakes.
Essential Skills- Airframe required
- 1-5+ years of experience
- Current valid driver’s license
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A&P license preferred
- Basic set of tools required
- Commercial aircraft experience, larger than a CRJ 900, Boeing and Airbus preferred
- Experience with Boeing 777

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marana, Arizona.
