Our client is actively hiring experienced Aircraft Sheet Metal/Structural Mechanics to join their team in a Repair Station in Philadelphia, PA.

Qualified candidates will perform structural modifications and heavy maintenance on helicopters and rotary aircraft in a P145 work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Shoot and buck rivets to specifications.
- Recognize differences in types of metals including structural strength and thickness.
- Perform sheet metal bends to guidelines and specifications as dictated in normal aviation practices.
- Remove existing rivets from aircraft structure.
- Build components for aircraft applications using a variety of sheet metal materials.
- Perform repairs to the aircraft and determine which repairs can or cannot be made.
- Read blueprints to ensure build and modification completion; follow both written and verbal instructions.
Qualifications:
- Previous aircraft structures experience
- 4-7 years of aviation experience.
- Airframe License OR A&P license.
- Experience with structural repairs on sheet metal and composite materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficiency in performing inspections, repairs, services, and modifications according to FAA standards.
- Ability to work with diagnostic test equipment.
- Experience with helicopter dynamic components (preferred).
- Ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in documenting work performed using computers.
- Knowledge of AS9100 regulations.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
