Job Title: Aircraft Structural TechnicianJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Structural Technician to perform classified heavy modifications on various fixed wing military aircraft, including C-130 and P-3 airframes. The onboarding process generally takes 2-3 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Perform classified heavy modifications on various fixed wing military aircraft.
- Conduct depot level maintenance and aviation heavy maintenance.
- Fabricate and repair sheet metal using riveting and other techniques.
- Utilize rivet guns and blueprints to complete tasks.
Essential Skills- Experience in aircraft modification and maintenance.
- Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication and repair.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints.
- Experience with rivet guns and aviation maintenance.
- 6+ years of aviation structures (sheet metal) experience if only military experience, or at least 4+ years total if any civilian experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Must own tools and have a shadowed toolbox with tools etched or colored by Day 1.
- Must pass a sheet metal test on Day One with the potential for a pay increase.
- Eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
- Must pass an FAA Drug Test and a 7-year BG check.
- Preference for those with modification, heavy maintenance, and/or repair experience.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled FAA-regulated hangar. Shifts are four 10-hour shifts, either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday. Must be flexible to work the 2nd shift if needed. Approximately 75 of the workforce is on the 1st shift (6:00am - 4:30pm) and 25 on the 2nd shift (4:00pm - 2:30am). Overtime is regularly available but not guaranteed every week.
