Job Title: Aircraft TechnicianJob DescriptionIn this role, you will work on cutting-edge technology, utilizing your experience to further the development of new hardware and software. You will add new capabilities to airborne sensing and weapons systems, and sustain customer fleets including MQ-1C Gray Eagle, MQ-9B SkyGuardian, SeaGuardian, and Protector systems. You will be responsible for the entire Unmanned Aircraft System, modifying and configuring aircraft and ground control stations to meet customer-specified test programs. You will execute ground tests and support flight test activities, including preflight, launch and recovery, and postflight data collection.
Responsibilities
- Service, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain aircraft and ground support equipment in support of test operations and sustainment activities.
- Support test teams for test and development (R&D) efforts.
- Perform work on airframe and powerplant in support of test operations and sustainment activities.
- Troubleshoot aircraft and engine systems to identify and solve related problems.
- Develop and review new processes and procedures.
- Assist in training efforts for various customers.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Inspect powerplant and related components at regular intervals adhering to company-approved procedures, maintenance manuals, and/or government technical order requirements.
- Review records to ensure all required documentation is completed in accordance with established company procedures for government and customer technical order requirements.
- Perform all launch and recovery tasks of aircraft, including ground operations, pre and postflight items, ground observer responsibilities, and inspect, test, maintain and operate ground support equipment.
- Maintain a productive and safe working environment in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Essential Skills- Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a security clearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two or more years of aircraft mechanical maintenance experience.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant License is desired.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation repair and maintenance.
- General knowledge and understanding of the detailed aspects of the job.
- Knowledge of relevant computer applications and operations.
- Basic leadership, organization, and planning skills.
- Good analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience on all types of aircraft will be considered.
- Candidates hobbies related to car repair, car building, video game repair, or car restoration will be considered as past experience.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $72800.00
Relocation:
2 options ( they get to choose)
Option 1 - is a concierge type service that helps them to find housing, transportation costs, etc. and they are reimbursed the costs they occur.
Option 2 - flat fee that is paid out two weeks prior to their start date.
Bonus program - discretionary bonus based on team and companys performance
Annual merit increases - 5-8
