AIRFRAME/
HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS COORDINATOR TASK DESCRIPTION:
This position will support the KAF Development and Technical Control Branch, in developing, implementing and coordinating programs and procedures in accordance with the KAMP. The incumbent will also provide advisory assistance and training in the airframe and hydraulic systems aspect of the KAFs Aviation Maintenance Program.
TASK REQUIREMENTS:
- Provide technical expertise and advice to the director of technical affairs and his staff on airframes and hydraulics systems technical matters.
- Review, evaluate, and advise KAF managers on KAF policy and procedures.
- Provide assistance, technical advice and training to KAF Officers, enlisted personnel and civilians in the development, implementation and coordination of programs required for effective management of airframe/hydraulic systems.
- Assist KAF officers with incoming NAVAIR letters and technical directives.
- Perform the duties of technical directive TD manager for the KAF F/A-18 program.
MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior hands-on experience at least 10 years in the aviation airframes/hydraulics maintenance technical field is essential to the accomplishment of this task.
- Prior management experience of at least five (5) years in an aviation airframes/hydraulics environment.
- Must possess the ability to interpret and relate to KAF personnel, technical drawings, specifications, schematics and must be capable of understanding the detailed instructions of technical orders.
- Must have management level administrative ability and capable of relating detailed instructions to foreign nationals.
- Must be PC literate and familiar with commercial word processing programs.
- A US Secret Security Clearance is required
