Description:Determines procedure and sequence to establish the location, fits, installs and hook ups of major units of electrical systems including equipment, harnesses, panels, and accessories where the location and coordination of assemblies and equipment are critical factors. Uses jigs and fixtures to locate equipment, panels, and accessories. Layout location of points. Install preassembled wiring harnesses in conformance with predetermined routing, fasten in place with clips, brackets and other holding devices. Hook-up wiring to equipment, panels, relays, and accessories. Makes continuity checks on primary installations. May be required to repair defective harnesses including crimp and solder.
Standing/Sitting: Requires full time standing with limited resting periods and to walk distances. Sit for extended periods if required.
Heights: Able to work at heights. Able to climb stairs or ladders as required. Able to work off of step stools, scissor lifts, lift platforms and aircraft structure without handrails.
Overhead work: Able to work overhead as required.
Weight restriction: Able to Lift/push/pull/carry a minimum of 25 lbs
Body positioning: Able to twist/bend (neck or waist) and stoop. Able to work in awkward positions as required. Able to squat/kneel/crawl/reach as required.
Work content: Able to use/hold/manipulate small tools and parts with hands. Simple grasping, power grasping and fine manipulation is required. Able to use vibrating tools and perform torqueing operations. Able to use power moving equipment and power moving equipment. Repetitive tasks will be performed.
Vision/Hearing: High level Hand/Eye coordination required. Corrective lenses may be used. Eye protection required in many instances. Color differentiation may be required. Must be able to hear at level required for positions.
Environmental: Able to work around noise, chemicals, fumes and dust. Capable of using respirators and other personal protective equipment including hearing protection if required. Able to work outside if needed.
Attendance: Regular attendance required based on set work schedule. Able to work any shift.
Vehicles/Power moving equipment: Able to operate equipment or machinery as required. Able to work around heavy equipment and machinery.

Must be able to work any shift.
Basic Qualifications:
Basic understanding of a manufacturing process.

Ability to perform assembly and installation work using assembly, jigs, fixtures, test equipment, precision measuring instruments, and mechanics hand tools.

Knowledge of blueprints, wiring diagrams, standard symbols and codes, sectional and opposite hand view and right angle projections.
Desired Skills:
Military aircraft assembly, maintenance and/or modification experience preferred. Will consider commercial experience.

Experience with crimp and solder.

Knowledge of integral fuel tank sealing processes.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
