Position Summary
Set up and operate all of the equipment in our Braze department.
Responsibilities
- Able to set-up and operate all Blue Devils Cell equipment
- Re-rounder
- Washer
- Expanders
- Presses
- Crimper
- Flare equipment
- Copper braze ovens
- Must be able to use computer programs to assist in recording data, making labels, printing tooling layouts, obtaining prints and specifications, printing ship-sets, etc.
- Be able to identify, analyze, and evaluate machine and material problems
- Requires the ability to conduct and evaluate destructive testing along with visual checks so necessary adjustments to the set-up can be made to produce a quality part
- Must be capable of making minor adjustments and repairs to equipment and machines when necessary
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Good math and reading skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to read blue prints
- Be able to use a variety of precision measuring instruments, including bevel protractor, micrometers, calipers and scales
