Assembler

Contract Position

$32.31-$37.31/ Hourly

Join a facility renowned for its missile systems and fire control projects, delivering some of the most advanced weapons systems in the world. Work on groundbreaking technologies that redefine combat and strategic capabilities globally, offering a chance to contribute to national and international security.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and modify RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies with mid-range to high complexity.
  • Install connectors, substrates, and components in complex microwave assemblies using paste and sheet epoxies.
  • Disassemble, reassemble, modify, and repair pre-production subassemblies and systems based on integrated circuit technology, resolving issues identified by test failure reports.
  • Use measurement tools such as reticles and drop indicators to ensure units meet specifications during and after assembly.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality Engineering to develop procedures and troubleshoot products to meet specifications.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to maintain schedule requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Interim Secret Clearance; Secret Clearance required.
  • Experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly.
  • Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers and tweezers.
  • Proficiency in reading detailed process sheets, drawings, and using computers to retrieve necessary work instructions.
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment.
  • Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) controlled environments preferred.
  • Experience in soldering components to printed wiring boards per J-STD-001 and mechanical assembly of small electronic devices in ISO 9001/AS9100 environments preferred.
