Successful candidates will receive one month of lodging and a $500 bonus after 6 months of employment.

Quality Assurance Logbook Researcher Looks at manufacturer&39;s updates and cross checks it with the airplane logbooks to make sure all required maintenance have been completed.  Additionally, the Logbook Researcher checks history of aircraft for damage or any other reportable items to the FAA.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• A&P certified.
• Inspection Authorized Preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ aviation experience, experience working in Aviation QA environment preferred.
• Working Knowledge of Aircraft Weight and Balance, familiarity with Military Weight and Balance.
• Experience in AQ with a 145 certificate.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills.
• Familiar RTS procedures.
• Computer skills including use of Excel and Word.
• Mathematical ability in computing weight and balance.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment

• Be physically able to perform aircraft mechanic duties.
• Stand, squat, sit, walk, work with arms overhead for extended periods of time.
• Pull, push, and lift up to 50 lbs. 

Background Checks

• This position is covered under Federal Aviation Regulations in regard to unescorted access to Security Identification Display Areas.  Applicants are subject to employment verification and, possibly, an FBI criminal history records check.
