The Boeing Company is looking for a Experienced Production Operations Specialist to join our B-52 team in San Antonio, TX.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements manufacturing processes.
- Provides concurrent engineering support.
- Defines production activities and resolves problems of limited scope.
- Reviews and approves technical documents.
- Analyzes charging trends and develops projected manpower forecast.
- Assists with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation.
- Leads projects and participates in technical research on proposed projects.
- Serves as primary interface with internal customers.
- Translates data into actionable plan for implementation within the organization.
- Compiles and provides management status reports for corrective/preventative action.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing integrated technical projects or teams across multiple organizations
- 10+ years of experience in aviation or aviation related activities
- 10+ years of experience working with aircraft maintenance and/or modifications
- 5+ years of experience in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology and analysis
- Willing and able to travel domestically up to 25 of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years’ experience with B-52 aircraft maintenance and/or modifications
- Experience with Field Service and/or Modification leadership
- Experience with Military Program Support
- Bachelors degree in related technical field
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.)
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area (San Antonio, TX) or relocate at their own expense.
