Job Description SummaryThe Controls Accessories & Marine (CA&M) Manufacturing Technician and Tester will carry out activities of production, test and repair of electronic boards or systems for aero/naval application. The products are realized using COTS or in part internally developed. Tests are performed using dedicated benches or standard electronic measurement instruments.
The activities are mainly carried out on site, but also possibly at the customers.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Production activities in compliance with company procedures
Carry out functional tests of systems or cards with the presence of Inspectors, if required by customer
Provide troubleshooting, repair, testing and reporting
Issue of technical documents (i.e. reports, repair sheets, specifications, test procedures, part list) relevant to the systems under test or repair
Review malfunctioning and identify any undesirable trends
Highlight components under obsolescence or obsolete and propose possible solutions
Support to periodic review of Risks and Opportunities Analysis relevant to the products of competence
Prepare reports or presentations showing the achieved results starting from the technical data collected
Share engineering information and promote open dialogue
Customer interfacing (private and/or governmental)
Responsible application of EHS rules and regulations
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering or college or high school diploma with related experience
Knowledge of electrical and assembly scheme drawings
Experience on application of test procedures
Knowledge of use of main measurement instruments (scope, digital meter, signals generator, accelerometer and temperature sensors) and electronic equipment (power supply, calibrator, PC, monitor)
Basic knowledge of set-up, maintenance and validation of test benches
Basic knowledge and use of a thermal chamber
Basic use of tin soldering
Good analysis skills
Strong attention to details
Capability to carry out concurrent and varied tasks
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally
Availability for interventions at customer site
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
English language knowledge, both written and oral
Work VISA, according to local regulation, is required

Basic knowledge of Acces
Basic experience of electronic repair using microscope
Orientation to Customer
Good English language knowledge, both written and oral
