Our CONFIDENTIAL client, a well-established Charter Operator, is looking for their next Director of Maintenance. Join this Part 135 operator and help them as they seek to obtain their Part 145 repair station certification.  As the MRO begins to take shape, the Director of Maintenance will perform internal maintenance on our client’s diverse fleet of jets as well as retail maintenance including mobile AOG Teams. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensures maintenance programs are followed during inspection and repair of aircraft.
• Maintains technical manuals and reference material in a current status.
• Maintains and secures maintenance records to FAA regulations on all aircraft. 
• Responsible for updating of maintenance personnel/training records for outside service clients. 
• Oversees and initiates requisitions for required stock, material, and ordering of parts for aircraft 
  within maintenance facility. 
• Serves as liaison between Company and FAA representatives. 
• Review all documents before their submission to the FAA.
• Other duties as assigned

• A&P license required
• 12 years of corporate fixed-wing aviation maintenance experience
• 7 years of management experience
• Experience setting up a Part 145 department preferred
