Job Description:
The department Installation Mechanical Equipment and Fuel System is part of the Design and Integration organization within the design office. The team is responsible for the development of parts and assemblies for the installation of Outboard Equipment and the Fuel System. It supports the complete Airbus Helicopters product range, including commercial and governmental helicopters, as well as research demonstrators, throughout the complete helicopter life cycle (design, prototype and serial production, in-service support). The outboard equipment installation is done for the full scope of helicopter missions, incl. public transport, public services, emergency medical services, police and parapublic missions, Search and Rescue, military, VIP.
The department is transnationally organized, with team members in Marignane and in Donauwörth. Team members work in modern agile project teams together with members of Airframe Design, Vehicle Systems, Electrical System, and Stress departments, among others. The team also works with multiple subcontractors and international Airbus subsidiaries.
For the team based in Marignane, we are seeking a Mechanical System Installation Detailed designer.

Your challenge
The main tasks and accountabilities include:
Design and Verification of Mechanical System Installations on simple assembly:
Preparation of documents for certification and qualification
Definition and planning of development projects and Design Changes, including change analysis, identification of requirements, definition of deliverables, workload estimation
Definition of subcontracting work packages and follow-up of subcontractor activities
Support to manufacturing, including Non-Conformity Management (NCM) and support of the industrialization process
Support to technical customer support, including definition of repairs (RDAS)
Support to the Continuing Airworthiness process, including Major Incident investigations
Your profile
Experience with part design and product data management, preferably with software CATIA, SAP, Windchill
Experience in Design Change process (ECR/ECP, BNAe, ATA100)
Behavioral: working in an agile team, welcoming challenges, eager to take on responsibility, contribute to continuous improvement
Language: French mandatory and English
