Job Title: Electrical Mechanical TechnicianJob Description
The role involves working on a bench, not on the actual aircraft. Parts are sent in, and you will be working at a station fixing them. Some of the instruments we work on include altimeters, pressure instruments, gyroscopes, indicators, fuel flow transmitters, and gauges.
Responsibilities
- Perform bench-level repair and maintenance on aircraft components.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, and repair various instruments such as altimeters, gyroscopes, indicators, fuel flow transmitters, and gauges.
- Conduct soldering and component repair.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Use a variety of inspection tools and instruments such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and voltmeters.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks.
Essential Skills- 1+ years of experience working on electronics, including at the component level, vacuum tubes, or analog systems.
- Proficient in bench-level work environment and tooling.
- Ability to troubleshoot, sand, solder, and repair electric motors, electric control panels, power distribution blocks, and relay boards.
- Strong analog background, ideally down to the component level.
- Experience reading and interpreting schematics.
- Experience using a variety of inspection tools and instruments such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and voltmeters.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with instruments such as gyroscopes, altimeters, indicators, fuel flow transmitters, and gauges is preferred.
- Open to candidates with avionics or military maintenance backgrounds with strong electrical experience.
Work EnvironmentYou will be working in a family-oriented team of about 30 people, with 20-25 in the instrument shop. The work environment is collaborative, and the entire team is committed to helping each other. We emphasize coaching and support for continuous learning and improvement.

$20-25/hr
7am – 3:30 pm M-F
