Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is recruiting for a potential Field Service Technician / Tower Technician position to be awarded in October 2024 concerning a US Navy - Regional Multi-domain Awareness Capability (RMAC) program.

The Field Service Technician / Tower Technician will organize & lead RMAC deployments and have responsibility for oversight of purchasing, building, testing, deploying and supporting RMAC systems globally.

This is an “on call” Deployed position – as contract needs evolve concerning the RMAC Program.

Expect 2-3 week deployments at a time

Expect to deploy approximately 10 times

This position will be salaried and pay will NOT depend on how many deployments are made.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Lead installation efforts to include personnel, scheduling, and estimation.
  • Plan and execute overseas deployments for MDA systems to include materials procurement, testing, shipping, site preparation, installation, testing, and training.
  • Specifying and installing domain awareness centers to include power, communications, facilities, data centers, and sensor systems.
  • Specifying and installing towers and sensors to include foundations, erection, rigging, grounding, and sensor deployment.
Requirements

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience associated with technical functions as related to development of system architecture for sensor systems.
  • Must have experience in working in remote overseas locations.
  • Must have Experience in Tower Climb Operations / Technical Install

  • Must have hardware and software experience with multi-domain awareness systems.
  • Must have strong technical background with computer system administration, network administration, and general understanding and the ability to install/troubleshoot the following types of systems: VHF/HF communications systems, video systems, radars, AIS, ADS-B, and microwave communications systems and satellite communication systems.

Education:

  • BS Degree and experience must be in engineering, computer science or other technical field.

Clearance:

  • Secret

The projected compensation range for this position is $70000 to $130000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAGs total compensation package for employees.
